The space in between;
This is where the truth lies, where the detritus gathers to tell the story
Between the road and the curb
Between the cushions and the sofa back
Between the rug and the floor
Between the lines
Between our words
Between is rife with possibility, anticipation and the ‘not knowing’
Dragging along vestiges of what was, to colour what is now, and what can be, one day in front of us
Linimal times are necessarily ‘in between’…positioned on the threshold of a moment, a path to an unknown outcome, pulsing with anticipation
I am in a liminal time, in life and then of course in studio, in my work
An influence which is not overt but inevitable
I have looked inwards and worked to understand who I am, and how I am to be in the world in an authentic way
